TIOO runs the everyday work of a hotel, B&B, guest house or holiday let in one place. This page shows how the parts fit together. Each part has its own guide.
1. Bookings come in
Bookings arrive in three ways:
- From booking sites such as Booking.com and Airbnb. You give TIOO each room's calendar link once, and new bookings appear by themselves. A calendar link only carries the dates and a name, so TIOO also reads the booking emails you forward to it to fill in the guest's email, phone and booking reference.
- From your own website. Every plan includes a website where guests can book you directly.
- Added by you, for walk-ins and phone bookings.
You see them all on Reservations: today's arrivals and departures at the top, then tomorrow, then everything after that.
2. Guests check in online
Before they arrive, each guest gets a check-in link. They confirm their details, say roughly when they will arrive, and, if you ask for it, add a photo of their ID. When they finish, they get their guest app: a page on their phone with the door code, Wi-Fi, directions and your house rules.
3. Doors open with a code or the phone
With a smart lock connected, TIOO makes a door code for each booking. The code works only for that stay. The guest app shows it once the stay starts, and guests can also open the door with a button in the app.
No smart lock? You can still tell guests how to get in (key safe, lock box, reception) in the guest app.
4. Rooms get cleaned
When a guest checks out, the room shows up on Cleaning as needing a clean. You give jobs to your cleaners, and they tick them off in their own simple app on their phone.
5. The rest
- Messages: guest emails and texts in one inbox.
- Invoices: make and send invoices, and see what is paid.
- Event Pricing: TIOO watches big events near you (concerts, matches, conferences) and suggests higher prices for those nights.
- Team: invite staff and decide what each person can see and do.
Note: Which of these you have depends on your plan. See Which plan do I need?.
Where to start
Most businesses set things up in this order:
- Add your rooms.
- Connect your Booking.com and Airbnb calendars.
- Forward your booking emails.
- Send your first guest their check-in link.
The setup checklist on your dashboard home page walks you through the same steps.
