A smart lock is optional: TIOO works fully with ordinary keys. If you have a smart lock, here's which ones work: today, any lock that works with the TTLock app. More brands are on the way.

No smart lock? TIOO still works.
A smart lock is optional. Many hosts use ordinary keys: you leave the key in a key safe or lock box, hand it over at reception, or meet the guest. Guests still check in online, get the guest app with your directions, WiFi and house rules, and you see every booking in one calendar. You choose how each room is opened in its settings.

Supported now: locks that work with the TTLock app
TTLock is the software many lock brands use. Here's how to check yours: open the TTLock app on your phone. If your lock is listed there, TIOO can control it. If it isn't, it won't work with TIOO yet. We don't publish a list of lock brands, because we haven't tested them all ourselves.
- A door code for each stay
TIOO makes a door code for every booking and removes it afterwards. The code only works during the stay, so last week's guest can't come back in.
- Tap to unlock in the guest app
Guests open the door from their phone with one tap. This needs a TTLock gateway (a small Wi-Fi bridge) next to the lock; without one, the door code still works.
- Front door and room door
A lock on the building's front door, a lock on each room, or both. The guest gets the same code for both doors, and the arrival shows on your dashboard the moment the door opens.
- Low-battery warnings
TIOO checks every lock's battery each day and warns you before it runs flat, so a guest never stands outside a dead lock.
Which plan do I need?
Smart locks come with the Starter plan and up. Each plan includes a number of locks; you can buy extra locks on any paid plan.
Need more? Extra locks can be added to any paid plan.
Extra locks are billed per lock each month and can be removed again from your billing page.
No smart lock? That's fine.
Online check-in and the guest app work without any lock. Tell TIOO how guests get in and the guest app explains it to them.
