Your website shows your rooms and lets guests book them. You don't type rooms or prices into the website itself: they come from your room settings, so they are always the same as in the rest of TIOO.

Which rooms show

  • Every room that is switched on in Rooms shows on your website. Archived rooms never show.
  • The room's name, photos, description and Price per Night are the ones you set on the room. Change them by opening the room on the Rooms page and pressing Edit.
  • If a property has its own website (Growth and higher plans), that website only shows that property's rooms.
  • To hide all rooms from the website, open Website → Branding, find Room Display and switch off Show room listings on public website. Rooms sections then show a "Contact us" message instead.

On your pages, rooms appear in these sections:

  • Rooms List — every room, with prices.
  • Rooms Preview — a few rooms, usually on the home page, with a link to the rest.
  • Check Availability Widget — the box where guests choose dates.

Add or move them like any other section; see Edit a page.

Prices per night

Each room has a normal price (its Price per Night). For nights that should cost more or less, use the Prices page (in the menu, just below Rooms):

  1. Open Prices.
  2. On a computer, drag across the rooms and nights you want. On a phone, pick a room and tap the nights.
  3. Type the price for those nights.
  4. Press Save.

To go back to the room's normal price for some nights, pick them and press Back to normal price.

What happens next: the website charges the new price for those nights straight away. A booking already made keeps the price it was made at.

Careful: These prices are for your own website only. Booking.com and Airbnb prices are set on those sites — TIOO never changes them.

The availability box

When a guest picks dates and the number of guests in the Check Availability Widget, the box tells them at once whether rooms are free and the lowest price for those nights. The answer follows your bookings, blocked dates and booking rules (such as minimum stays).

What happens when a guest books

  1. The guest picks a room, chooses dates and fills in their name, email and phone on the booking form. The form takes no payment.
  2. The booking arrives in Booking Requests in your menu, and you get an email and a notification.
  3. What the guest gets next depends on your settings: - Instant book on: when the room is free and the stay follows your booking rules, the guest is booked straight away and gets their confirmation email. - Instant book off (or the booking needs a look): the guest gets an email saying their request has arrived. You approve or refuse it on Booking Requests. Approving makes the booking and emails the guest their confirmation; refusing emails them too.
  4. Once the booking is confirmed it appears on Reservations like any other booking, and the guest gets their check-in link as usual.

To change instant book, reminders and automatic refusal of unanswered requests, open Booking requests settings. There you can also keep some bookings for your approval — for example arrivals sooner than a few days away, or long stays.

Good to know

  • The Book button in menu and the Sticky mobile Book Now bar take guests straight to booking. Switch them on or off on the website Overview and Branding pages.
  • Bookings from your website are added to your calendar export, so booking sites that read it see those nights as taken — see Let the booking sites see your TIOO bookings.
