Some guests need a room without steps, a shower they can roll into, or a fire alarm they can see. You can tell them which of your rooms have these things, and they can tell you what help they need.
Describe each room
- Open Rooms and then the room.
- Press Edit and go to Accessibility.
- Tick what is true for this room, for example Step-free entrance, Roll-in shower or Visual fire alarm.
- Add anything else in the box under the ticks, for example "One small step at the front door".
- Press Save.
Careful: Describe your rooms honestly. These ticks are information for guests. TIOO does not check them and they are not a legal check of your building.
What guests see
- The room page on your website lists the things you ticked.
- Rooms with a step-free entrance, a roll-in shower or wide doorways get a small Accessible tag on room cards.
- On the booking page guests can pick Accessible rooms only.
What guests can tell you
Online check-in and your website booking form have an optional box: "Do you need any help or access arrangements?" Guests never have to fill it in.
When a guest writes something, you see Access needs on the booking page and on the booking card on your phone.
